Welcome to Lingonaut. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Lingonaut mobile application and related services (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Using Lingonaut

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You agree to use the App only for lawful, personal, non-commercial language learning.

2. Subscriptions & billing

Lingonaut offers a free tier and optional paid subscriptions. Paid subscriptions are billed through your App Store account and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store settings.

3. Free trials

If you start a free trial, you will not be charged until the trial ends. If you do not cancel before the trial period expires, your subscription will begin and the applicable fee will be charged.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, including attempting to reverse-engineer it, disrupt its operation, submit unlawful or abusive content, or use it to harass others. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Intellectual property

The App, including its content, design, and software, is owned by Lingonaut and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal purposes.

6. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that AI-generated feedback or translations are error-free. Lingonaut is a learning aid, not a substitute for professional instruction.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lingonaut is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
